Day 2 is already finished! Papa and I seized the opportunity to fit in the 25-minute workout when both babies were napping at the same time! (If you're a parent of two little ones, you know just how precious that time is, LOL!)
The second day on the PiYo Calendar is "Define: Lower Body" and let me tell you: you'll feel it. But not in that dreaded "oooooh, man, am I going to be sore tomorrow!" kind of way but more like a "whew, I was definitely being pushed there, but I'm feeling so relaxed, stretched and good now!" way.
Honestly, this workout is already more challenging than either of us expected it to be: my personal expectation was that it would be a "touchy-feely" routine with soothing yoga poses held for five minutes at a time, Buddhist chants or methodical humming in the background, and lots of "deep breath innnnn....hold....aaaand release" sentences. Papa thoroughly expected it to be a "girly" workout, too, and was more than a little surprised by the physical challenge, speed and cardiovascular effort involved. And, no, there isn't any chanting. :)
I'm actually excited for tomorrow's workout, now! That's what I call a good routine.
